Cross Country is another annual event of MSPSBS. This year, the event took place on 6th March 2010. For Year 9 and MA 4 Boys, MA5 & Pre U 1 and 2 Boys and Girls Plus Male Teachers, the route is 9 Kilometres. While for the categories of Year 7 and 8 Boys & Girls, Year 9 and MA 4 Girls and Female Teachers, the route is 5.5 Kilometres. The aims of this event to find participant for Interschool X-Cross Country and to promote healthy lifestyle among students and teachers.
Before the run started, students and teachers assembled at parking area for morning assembly which was started by singing National Anthem and School's Song and Prayer. Next, the aerobics session will took place to ensure that there'll be no injury while running. The aerobic session was lead by teachers from PE Department.
The students and teachers were also given a short brief before the run. Our beloved Principal, give words of wisdom for the runners to boost up their confidence in winning the run. The students were released according to their categories. The run started as soon as principal press the horn.
At the finishing line, which is also the starting line, students were given numbers. However, the numbers were limited. So, only the fastest were given the numbers. The numbers indicated the points earned by each house.
This year, the house of LAKSAMANA emerged as the champion of Cross Country. Congratulation to LAKSAMANA and Congratulation to all participant.
